Loss Never Stays Local

Wisconsin senators fled the state
To prove they can stall democracy
Spending more proving their point
Bent on saving the public workers
Another day their boss has turned
Against options gained as rewards
Everyone is seeing the hard times
It is written on the populus face
When will we stop funding schools
In countries that feel we invaded
As if being afraid makes us safer
Nothing alone is something sacred
Only together do we return favors
